Imaging for Women is dedicated to offering you a new experience in women's health care. We offer the highest
quality of diagnostic imaging services in a comfortable service-oriented environment.
Dr. Voeltz grew up in Rochester, MN and attended
undergraduate college at the University of
Minnesota, earning degrees in Biochemistry /
Molecular Biology and Chemistry, and then went on
to attend medical school at the University of
Minnesota, graduating in 2008. He completed his
radiology residency in Chicago, IL at St. Francis
Hospital, where he served as chief resident. After
residency, he returned to the University of
Minnesota where he completed a fellowship in
breast imaging. Post fellowship, he looked at many
different job options all over the country but
ultimately decided the best fit for him was Imaging
for Women, which he joined in 2014 and now runs
alongside Dr. Zupon.
Dr. Voeltz is passionate about providing expert level breast care to patients. It is important to provide
this care without the high cost some centers charge, particularly in the hospital setting. Growing up, Dr.
Voeltz remember spending many afternoons going through newspapers and clipping coupons to make
sure his family stretched every dollar they had. This has carried over as he makes sure that the services
Imaging for Women offer are affordable to everyone. It is his philosophy that everyone should have
access to the best health care available (not just the best healthcare they may be able to afford), so
being a part of a group that is conscious of price is extremely important to him. Being a small,
independent imaging center, Imaging for Women is able to provide patients with exams that are not
only the best available from a technologically standpoint but are also the most comfortable (particularly
with mammography as the patients control the compression). Dr. Voeltz also believes that patients
should receive a complete work up when they come in for an exam, and patients should leave knowing
the results of the exam and have time to discuss the results with their radiologist. Imaging for Women
accomplishes all of this and we do so while being transparent about costs. No surprise billing.
Outside of life at Imaging for Women, Dr. Voeltz is married to his beautiful and caring wife Corinne.
They recently welcomed their first child, a daughter, named Elizabeth Ruby (we call her Izzy for short).
When they have some free time, which isn’t often now, they enjoy traveling to spend time with close
friends and family. Dr. Voeltz thanks you for reading this and hopes to see you sometime either as a
patient or in the community.
Dr. Zupon grew up in the small town of Auxvasse,
MO, east of Columbia. She studied Biochemistry at
the University of Missouri, and graduated with
minors in both Chemistry and Public Service. She
spent a year serving the youth of Billings, Montana
as an AmeriCorps Vista Volunteer before returning
to the University of Missouri School of Medicine.
After graduating with her M.D., she completed a
radiology residency at the University of Kansas,
where she became skilled at reading CTs,
ultrasound, MR, and X-rays as well as performing a
variety of image-guided procedures.
Dr. Zupon has 7 years’ experience reading women’s imaging. She completed a fellowship in breast
imaging at KU Medical Center where she exclusively trained to interpret mammograms, breast
ultrasound and breast MRI. She also performed stereotactic, ultrasound guided, and MRI guided breast
biopsies. Dr. Zupon has participated in innovative cancer research as part of the University of Kansas
and at Imaging for Women. Dr. Zupon enjoys teaching mastery classes to other radiologists
implementing ABUS (Automated Breast Ultrasound), and has been privileged to speak at multiple
national conferences. Through Imaging for Women and Northland Healthcare Access, Dr. Zupon
provides free care to underserved patients in the Kansas City area.
When not working, Dr. Zupon loves spending time with her husband and two young children. In her free
time, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding and reading.
